Test WeHike before everyone else
WeHike is in closed testing on Google Play. Google asks new developers to run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before an app can be published. Help us get there, and shape the app on the way.
What testers do
- Install WeHike from the Google Play test link and keep it installed for at least 14 days.
- Use it on your hikes, or on a walk around town: record, browse trails, plan a hike, join or create a test outing.
- Tell us what breaks, what confuses you and what you miss, by email or with Google Play’s private feedback.
What you need
- An Android phone with Android 8.0 or later
- A Google account that you use on Google Play
- To be 18 or older
How to join
- Email beta@wehike.app with the address of the Google account you use on Google Play.
- We add you to the testers list and reply with the link to the test.
- Open the link on your phone, accept the invitation and install WeHike from Google Play.
We use your address only to add you to the test and to write to you about it. Ask us to remove it at any time.

If you run outings for a club, as a guide or for an agency, say so in your email: we want to test outings with real groups.
